hellO!!! im gonna blog abt my Batam Trip!! =D
3rd of April - i packed my bag n headed off to my bf's hse to stay overnight.. cos the next day we have to reach the ferry terminal at 8.30am lk tat.. which is near my bf's hse nia.. so stayed at his hse i no need to wake up too early.. =)4th of April - wake up 7am in the morning.. wash up.. prepare a little den went off to Ferry terminal le.. we ate our breakfast b4 we collect our ferry ticket.. saw quite alot of Aunties there.. =/ somemore is in groups de.. dunno go whr.. heng nv gO wif us .. damn noisy =x after collecting our tickets.. ard 9am .. we can wait inside the ferry le.. the ferry 9.30am depart.. sO.. went in and get a seat.. took out camera shoot here n there.. haha.. at 1st kinda worried tat the ferry kinda shaky.. but actually hai hao lo.. =) den it took us 45mins or even less to reach batam!! tat ferry terminal quite Ulu~ no ppl de.. den there lk empty empty 1.. nth to shop de.. unlike our Sg de HarbourFront lo.. =/ but still alright la.. hmm.. we waited quite long for the Custom lo.. becos quite alot of ppl alighted at the Ferry terminal... after we came out from the Custom, there got a Provision Shop.. we went in and Spend our 1st Rupiah! haha.. bought chewing gums and Kueh Lapis.. *its a Indonesia Famous de Kueh~ * haha.. very nice! and den we hop on to our Hotel de shuttle bus, Holiday Inn! the driver very friendly wOr.. the service oso Damn gd de! =)
we ard 11+am reached our hotel, den check-in.. the hotel room not bad wor.. everything oso have.. hehe... *aku 1st time stayed in such a NICE hotel! and the bed is sOOoo comfy leh! the sofas toO! we have 2 bedrooms .. 1 is queen sized bed another is 2 single bed.. hmm.. den we unpack our stuff.. locked our stuff inside pin-code locker.. den slack till ard 12+pm we went to explore ard the hotel..quite alot of things to do there wor.. they gt indoor pool... outdoor pool.. tennis.. ping pong .. cycling.. Spa.. Gym.. pool.. KTV.. Bar.. lots leh.. we went to a restaurant called the Dragon Inn.. there de service i give them Excellent! A must Try restaurant... their food damn nice.. all the things we ordered all very nice wor.. and they charged us in Sing Dollar.. =) Damn Cheap lor! hehe..
we eat ard 1+pm n went off to the lobby le.. we had a Spa Appointment at other places at 2pm.. but the driver late... by right he 1.30pm shd arrive le.. but he ard 2pm den come.. =/ it took us 45 mins to reach the spa area neh.. den during the journey.. i saw alot of things which i only seen b4 in TV lo.. the ppl there de hse very jia lat 1 leh.. den the road oso not gd 1.. very bumpy.. den alot of cars lo~ all very impatient 1.. keep overtaking.. den is lk they drive very closly to each other 1.. our driver oso lk tat.. =/ Scary.. drive very fast.. we dun even dare to say anything.. but our driver very gd .. he actually locked the car doors.. =) den ard 3pm we finally reached the Spa there le.. me n my bf seperated wif his sis and mother .. went to different room for our spa treatment .. the room's light very dim.. makes the room look very dark.. i think they actually wanted to make it more relaxing la.. but for me i find it very scary =x cos very dark.. den we strip off our clothes! =X we only wrap ourselves wif a some kind of sarong nia.. den they start the massaging all these le lo.. gT full body massage.. Body Scrub.. Steam bath.. Body Mask n Jacuzzi!! i 1st time do massaging.. n i mus say they are terrific! its very relaxing and very comfortable lo.. only for some part quite pain nia.. but overall not bad =) we do till ard 6pm lk tat.. n it only cost us abt $50+ nia.. which i think in sg can over $100+ lo..
After tat.. we went to the nearest Shopping Centre,Mega Mall! hmm.. we nv really walk the whole shopping mall lo.. cos not enough time.. we dun wan to stay too late there lo.. but we managed to buy things at their HyperMart.. the stuff there really DAMN CHEAP CAN! all the stuff there only costs abt $1+ nia leh! damn cheap lo.. i spend up to $30+ there =X haha.. den after tat we went to eat our dinner at A&W!! as expected,their fries and root beer float is NICE! but their set meal.. kinda not worth the $ ba.. very little only.. =/ i only eat their fries and root beer float only.. i went back the hotel n ate 2 cups of cup noodle =X we went back our hotel ard 9+pm. the driver send us back.. =) n we nearly met an accident during the journey 0.0 they dun stop even there is a zebra crossing leH!! den there is 1 person crossing.. the driver only on high beam to warn the pedestrain nia.. Nv stop de leh!! nearly knock dao lo.. so scary man T.T they dun have street lamps oso.. road VERY DARK!!!! they only use car de light to c the road nia.. luckily we reached our hotel safely.. phew~ its really a rare experience for us neh.. =/ oh ya.. at night the sky very clear.. and there is ALOT OF STARS WOR!!! VERY VERY NICE NEH!!! ow~~~
5th of April - which is our last day in Batam le.. woke up 7am in the morning to eat our buffet breakfast in the hotel.. the food there really nice *drool* after our breakfast we went for swimming! haha.. which is ard 9+am.. we swim till 11+am.. hehe.. we went back our hotel room .. bathed and start to pack up our things le lo.. ard 12+pm we check-out le.. we went back the Dragon Inn restaurant to eat some dim sum.. hehe.. den ard 1 we went back to collect our bags and stuff n went to ferry terminal le.. our ferry departing at 2.20pm.. sO.. we loiter ard the terminal den hop on the ferry le lo.. n tats was the activities when i was in batam.. =) i would love to go back again for the Spa.. the Hotel.. and the Hypermart!!! shall upload the pics soon =)
